Hydromite 70 AL is a booster sensitive bulk emulsion made from a mixture of 70% of emulsion matrix with 30% low-density ammonium nitrate porous prill, fuel oil and Aluminum. The added Aluminum increases the energy of this emulsion explosive.
This emulsion is sensitized by chemical gassing. Hydromite 70 AL is widely used in surface mining, quarrying and construction work.
